Cancellations
UK holidays:
If you cancel the booking your £50 deposit will be forfeited. If this happens more than 4 weeks from travel you will receive a full refund less the deposit. If you cancel within 4 weeks of travel you are not entitled to any refund. It is recommended you purchase holiday insurance to cover this and other eventualities.
Abroad holidays:
If you cancel the booking your £200 deposit will be forfeited. If this happens more than 12 weeks from travel you will receive a full refund less the deposit. If you cancel within 12 weeks of travel you are not entitled to any refund. It is essential you purchase holiday insurance to cover this and other eventualities.
If changes in medical circumstances make participating in a holiday untenable, this constitutes you cancelling the booking. If for any reason we cancel the booking you will be refunded in full, including deposit.
Holiday Changes
We will make every effort to fulfil the scheduled programme but reserve all rights to change dates & itinerary, alter prices and cancel holidays if necessary. In such circumstances, you will have the right to a full refund, including deposit.
Insurance
Chrysalis Holidays has a comprehensive public liability indemnity policy but does not provide individual holiday cover. We recommend that you obtain your own personal accident, ‘all risk’ & cancellation cover for UK holidays. All abroad destinations are within the EU and therefore covered by the EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), however, you must take out your own comprehensive insurance for any holiday abroad and provide a copy of insurance paperwork to the Chrysalis office before the holiday.
Lost Property
Every effort is made to ensure the safe return of all items but Chrysalis Holidays takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to customer property.
Medication
All medication should be clearly marked, in its original pharmacy-filled container. Even if you self-medicate, it should be handed into Chrysalis staff to be stored in a locked cupboard at the holiday venue.
Holiday Termination
Chrysalis Holidays reserves the right to terminate a customer’s holiday for behavioural or medical reasons. If this event occurs it is your responsibility to arrange transport home from the holiday and organise relevant care at home. Otherwise, you will be billed in full for transport and staff costs involved. It is strongly advised you take out insurance to cover this eventuality.
